Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Pharmacy Technician position is available in Ontario, OR, on a per diem basis with a set schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This role involves supporting pharmacy operations by accurately distributing prescribed medications and providing essential information to customers regarding their use, ensuring exceptional service standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications as prescribed by licensed healthcare professionals
- Offer knowledgeable guidance and answer customer questions about medications
- Maintain a focus on delivering superior customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy policies and state regulations
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Oregon Pharmacy Technician License is required
- Experience in retail and/or long-term care pharmacy settings preferred
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
