Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This role offers the opportunity to work as a Special Education Teacher within a K-12 school setting in Warren, OH. The position focuses on providing specialized support as an Intervention Specialist for students with diverse learning needs. This is a contract role for the current school year, running from ASAP through June 2, 2026, with a standard workweek of 37.5 hours onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted educational interventions to support students with individualized learning goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to develop and implement effective instructional strategies
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary to meet educational milestones
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with state regulations and school policies related to special education
Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license required
- Experience working with K-12 students in special education environments preferred
- Ability to develop individualized educational plans (IEPs) and work with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseload and reporting requirements
