Calibration Technician | Walker, MI
Salary Range: $51,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and non-routine calibration of test, measurement, and production equipment.
- Maintain accurate and detailed calibration records, documentation, and equipment history.
- Troubleshoot and make minor repairs or adjustments to instrumentation and control systems.
- Schedule and manage calibration activities to minimize downtime and ensure operational readiness.
- Ensure all calibration activities comply with internal quality standards, ISO requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Assist in the development, review, and improvement of calibration procedures and work instructions.
- Operate and maintain calibration software and laboratory equipment.
Recommended Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., electronics, instrumentation, metrology) or equivalent technical certification.
- 2+ years of experience performing calibration in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proficient in the use and understanding of a wide range of measurement equipment (electrical, mechanical, pressure, temperature).
- Strong understanding of metrology principles and calibration standards (e.g., ISO 17025).
- Excellent documentation skills and proficiency with calibration software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with automated calibration software or systems
- Basic programming or scripting skills (e.g., Python, LabVIEW) for data analysis or test automation
- Familiarity with ISO 17025 accreditation requirements
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) or LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System)
