Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Pharmacist located in Kamas, UT. The Pharmacist will be responsible for preparing and dispensing medications, counseling patients on proper medication use, and ensuring compliance with regulatory laws and standards. They will collaborate with healthcare providers to review prescriptions and provide guidance on drug interactions, dosages, and side effects. Additionally, the Pharmacist will manage inventory, maintain accurate records, and provide exceptional customer service to promote overall patient well-being.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacology, drug therapies, and medication counseling
- Experience in managing prescriptions, dispensing medications, and handling inventory
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to educate patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals
- Relevant degree and licensure as a licensed Pharmacist in the state of Utah
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with pharmacy management software is a plus
