Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school district in Dixon, CA is seeking an experienced Speech and Language Pathologist to provide supervision to a Clinical Fellow in a K-12 educational setting. This contract position offers part-time hours with flexibility, ideal for professionals interested in leadership and mentorship within pediatric speech-language pathology.
Key Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy within school or healthcare settings
- Prior supervisory experience, particularly with Clinical Fellows
- Strong knowledge of school-based therapy practices and regulations
Location:
- Dixon, California
- K-12 school environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight and clinical supervision to an SLP in her Clinical Fellowship year
- Complete approximately 12 hours of supervision per quarter (additional hours can be negotiated)
- Collaborate with school staff to support student communication needs
- Ensure compliance with relevant clinical and educational standards
- Mentor and guide the Clinical Fellow for professional development
