A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Pharmacy Technician in Jeffersontown, KY. This role is full-time, fully on-site, and offers the potential for long-term employment with career growth opportunities.

Pharmacy Technician – Position Summary:

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. This role involves processing medications returned from nursing facilities, preparing prescriptions and IVs, and supporting pharmacy operations in a non-retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and process returned medications from nursing facilities to determine credit eligibility
Prepackage medications and prepare IVs following regulatory and safety guidelines
Accurately enter prescription data into pharmacy systems
Assist with inventory control, including receiving, rotating stock, and posting expiration dates and lot numbers
Maintain a clean, calibrated, and compliant pharmacy workspace
Support final pharmacist review and medication delivery preparation

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED (required)
Active Pharmacy Technician License in the State of Kentucky (required)
National Pharmacy Certification preferred
Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy tech experience, preferably in a long-term care setting
Mandatory attendance for the first 90 days
