Job DescriptionSalary: $130 $145 Hourly DOE

Are you an experienced leader who thrives on turning complex challenges into successful outcomes? Were looking for a Project Manager to spearhead high-impact engineering and safety projects from start to finish. In this role, youll oversee budgets, schedules, and compliance requirements while serving as the trusted point of contact for clients and stakeholders. Youll also share your expertise by mentoring project staff, ensuring quality results, and driving forward initiatives that make a lasting difference in infrastructure and safety.

Essential Functions

  • Manage, plan, and execute engineering and safety-related projects from initiation through completion.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable engineering, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise and leadership across multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver reports, proposals, and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and project staff.
  • All other duties as assigned.


Competencies

  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence varied stakeholders.
  • Advanced project management skills, including planning, risk management, and budgeting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and manage multiple large-scale projects.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and ability to resolve issues independently.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) recognized by one or more U.S. states.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in engineering and project management.
  • Certified Safety and Security Director (WSO-CSSD), World Safety Organization
  • Certified Security and Safety Specialist (WSO-CSS), World Safety Organization
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Board of Certified Safety Professionals


Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Engineering, Safety, or related field.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar project management certification.
  • Experience managing federally funded, transportation, or large infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with contract administration in government or regulated environments.
  • Prior experience supervising multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Compensation
$130 $145 hourly, depending on experience, ability, and capability.
