The DNA Group is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join our clients team. We are seeking an individual with hands on experience in the Medicaid or Healthcare Industry. As a Senior level business systems analyst with experience in complex, cross-functional projects, systems design, and process optimization they will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, focusing on complex projects to analyze business needs, design innovative systems solutions, and drive process improvements. This role often involves leadership, mentorship, and a high degree of autonomy in managing large, cross-functional projects.

  • Lead stakeholder workshops and interviews to define, document, and prioritize complex business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and technical requirements.
  • Manage moderate to large projects, including planning, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Analyze and improve business processes, identifying opportunities for automation and optimization.
  • Develop and maintain process maps, data flow diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Conduct system testing, including UAT and performance validation, to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Provide post-implementation support and user training to ensure adoption and efficiency.
  • Coordinate vendor activities and evaluate deliverables for alignment with business objectives.
  • Mentor and guide junior analysts, promoting best practices and cross-team collaboration.
  • Collaborate with architects and developers to design scalable, effective systems solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Define systems scope and objectives based on user needs and a strong understanding of business systems and industry standards.
• Develop or refine procedures to address complex problems, considering system capacity, operational constraints, and desired outcomes.
• Analyze business and user needs, document requirements, and translate them into precise system specifications.
• Serve as a senior consultant on complex projects, providing expertise across multiple phases of systems analysis and evaluating the business impact of technology solutions.
• Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field, or equivalent experience. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is also acceptable.

  • Business Analysis (BA): 11 years (Required)
  • Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): 11 years (Required)
  • MS Office / PowerPoint: 11 years (Required)
  • Delivering complex projects: 5 years (Required)
  • Data analysis and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau), SQL, and process modeling tools (Visio): 5 years (Required)
  • Development methodologies: 11 years (Highly Desired)
  • Medical, Medicaid, Healthcare experience: 5 years (Highly Desired)
  • IBM/Curam: 2 years (Desired)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience: 4 years (Required)
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills; strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities: (Required)
  • Professional Certification in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA, IIBA CBAP) or Project Management (PMP): (Desired)
