Position Overview:
As a Special Education Teacher, you will work with middle and highschool students with various disabilitiesin a supportive self-contained setting, providing individualized instruction, developing IEPs, and collaborating with parents and staff to support student growth. CI, LD, or ASD endorsements preferred.Paraprofessional support provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet student needs.

• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan teaching certification with Special Education endorsement. SV endorsement required/ ASD preferred.

• Bachelors degree in Education or related field (Masters preferred).

• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation.

• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Compensation:

• Hourly Pay: Competitive rates based on experience and assignment.
