We are seeking an energetic and experienced Senior Retail Operations Manager to lead our dynamic Imaging Experience Team at New Orleans Steamboat Company, while also providing oversight, support, and performance monitoring for nearby operations within the region.

Key Responsibilities:
Primary Site Leadership – New Orleans Steamboat Company

  • Lead all daily operations, team management, and guest service at the New Orleans Steamboat Company location
  • Manage all aspects of operating a photo retail business, including guest service, operations, hiring, training, coaching, scheduling, data & reporting, client relations, and business administration
  • Motivate and support the team to meet KPIs, revenue goals, and service standards
  • Serve as the local point of contact with our host client to ensure smooth coordination and alignment
  • Ensure a consistently high-quality guest experience and strong visual brand representation
  • Complete and analyze daily and monthly reports to interpret data, identify trends, and drive performance improvements.
  • Understand the basic functions of the capture/production/retail positions and be able to perform the functions as required (training will be provided on each)
  • Must be able to speak clearly and effectively and establish clear lines and methods of communication throughout the organization
  • Responsible for payroll, scheduling, and all business administration to run the business
  • Provide an amazing experience for guests visiting New Orleans and be the best representation of our client’s brand

Area-Wide Oversight & Support:

  • Provide operational guidance and leadership to nearby satellite locations in the New Orleans region
  • Support site leads with training, performance management, troubleshooting, and staffing as needed
  • Monitor and analyze area performance metrics and take action to support underperforming sites
  • Ensure operational consistency and adherence to company standards across all locations in your area
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on broader goals, reporting, and future planning

Essential Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in retail, attractions, or guest service management (multi-site or area experience preferred)
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Experience with scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities
  • Comfort with analyzing reports and using data to drive improvement
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and committed to delivering results
  • High school diploma or GED required; college-level coursework is a plus

Additional Details:

  • Requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Travel between sites may be required
  • Background check required
