Salary Range: $64,000 - $102,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement PLC programs for automated manufacturing processes.
  • Test, debug, and validate PLC code to ensure system functionality and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation and control system issues on the production floor.
  • Configure and integrate Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and SCADA systems with PLC programs.
  • Implement and maintain industrial safety systems, including safety PLCs and interlocks.
  • Optimize existing PLC programs for improved efficiency, performance, and uptime.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for PLC programs, system configurations, and changes.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3-5+ years of hands-on experience programming PLCs (e.g., Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Siemens) in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagram programming.
  • Experience with HMI/SCADA system development, configuration, and integration.
  • Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP).
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex automation system issues.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP).
  • Proficiency in SCADA/HMI development and integration.
  • Familiarity with robotic programming and integration (e.g., Fanuc, Kuka, ABB).
  • Experience integrating PLC systems with databases (e.g., SQL, historian) or MES platforms.
