Step into a high-performing main surgical department with 23 operating rooms and a talented, supportive team. This assignment offers the unique opportunity to expand your clinical expertise through exposure to a wide range of elective surgical procedures, including Ortho/Spine, CV, Plastics, GYN, Robotics, and Urology—all within a collaborative environment that values adaptability and strong teamwork. Work with advanced equipment and EMR technology (Meditech), and be part of a department known for its outstanding staff and forward-thinking practices.
Schedule:
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Day Shift
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current, active RN license
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care Operating Room experience in a hospital setting
- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications
- Highly adaptable, flexible, and collaborative personality
- Ortho/Spine or Cardiovascular surgical experience preferred
- Experience with Meditech EMR is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced OR
- Function as circulating or scrub nurse for a variety of elective surgical procedures
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, physicians, and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care in Meditech EMR system
- Practice in accordance with hospital policies and safety standards
