Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available with a K-12 caseload at a school in Florence, MA. This contract role begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year. Both part-time and full-time candidates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students from preschool through 12th grade. You will develop individualized treatment plans, provide direct therapy services, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student success. Maintaining progress notes and compliance with school and state regulations are essential aspects of the role.
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology certification and licensure
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload from preschool through high school
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with educational assessments and Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes
