Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working within school systems or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt to various caseloads and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, other therapists, and parents to support holistic student development
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation of student progress and service delivery
- Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP meetings, and professional development activities
- Provide consultation and resources to classroom staff for supporting student communication needs
