CNC Machinist - Hurco/ Mori / Power Mill
- Macomb County - Direct Hire
- All hourly pay rates will be considered
QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE
- HURCO and DMG-MORI CNC Operating experience
- Power mill
- Strong mechanical ability and problem-solving skills
- Blue Print reading
- Ability to calculate speeds and feeds and perform machine offsets
- Communication skills to communicate and interact with all levels of employees and suppliers
- Computer skills and math skills sufficient to perform department related tasks are required
- Ability to work effectively with people
General Job Responsibilities
- Programs mills by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, and geometry.
- Sets-up mills by installing and adjusting, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, stops, indicating vices.
- Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, facing; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; replacing worn tools adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
