Key Responsibilities:
- Administer radiation treatments to patients diagnosed with cancer or other conditions requiring radiation therapy
- Collaborate closely with doctors, nurses, and medical physicists to develop and implement treatment plans
- Explain treatment procedures to patients and address their questions to ensure comfort and understanding
- Calibrate and operate radiation therapy machinery with precision and safety
- Monitor patient responses to treatment and report observations responsibly
- Maintain detailed, accurate records of patient treatment and care activities
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Radiation Therapist in a healthcare setting
- Skilled in dosimetric calculations and treatment simulation
- Strong knowledge of radiation therapy protocols and safety standards
- Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration
- Ability to maintain meticulous documentation and adhere to clinical policies
