Jubilee Ministries is a privately funded 501(c)3 non-profit Christian ministry. We exist to serve those affected by incarceration by being ambassadors of life change through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We consider every position to be essential in the fulfillment of our Mission Statement.


Purpose: Provide a world-class hiring and recruiting experience to our hiring managers throughout the various stages from job requisition to candidate offer, acceptance, and onboarding in alignment with Jubilee’s philosophy, mission statement, and core values.


Who You Are

  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office 365, database management, and open source.
  • Proven experience conducting various types of interviews (phone, video, etc.).
  • Experience developing recruiting strategies.
  • Professionalism, organization, and project management skills.
  • Able to appropriately handle sensitive information and maintain required confidentiality
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, including effective time management
  • Preferred bilingual in English & Spanish
  • Can articulate an identifiable salvation experience and live out a pattern of spiritual development and regular participation in a local church
  • Willing to adhere to Jubilee’s Mission Statement, Core Values, Statement of Faith, Position Statements, and Employee Code of Conduct


Requirements:

What You'll Do

  • Ensure all pre-employment assessments, employment applications, references, and background checks/clearances are completed during the appropriate candidate hiring stages.
  • Oversee the first week of onboarding experience for your new hires.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with faith-aligned organizations to help generate leads.
  • Assist with the creation and updating of job descriptions.
  • Assist hiring managers in the hiring process and the utilization of our applicant tracking software.
  • Provide daily administrative support to the HR team, including database management and meeting coordination.
  • Support onboarding processes by coordinating documentation, orientation schedules, and transitions.
  • Maintain process documentation to ensure consistent HR practices across departments.
  • Other duties as assigned

Working Conditions/Physical Factors: Occasionally= 1-33% Frequently= 34-66% Continuously= 67%-100%

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (30-minute Lunch)
  • Sitting at desk- Continuously
  • Working on the Computer- Continuously
  • Moving/Walking- Frequently
  • Reaching/ bending/twisting/stooping- Occasionally
  • Travel to other Jubilee sites- Occasionally
