Position: PRN Physical Therapist

Schedule: Weekend/Holidays only

Shift: Days

Hours: Choose between 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

About Our Team

Our 48-bed Acute Rehab Unit is located in the NKC Health Main Hospital Building. We pride ourselves on creating a fast-paced yet fun environment filled with endless opportunities for learning and growth. With over 25 full-time therapists, you’ll be part of an amazing team that supports each other every step of the way!

What We’re Looking For

We are on the hunt for a dynamic Physical Therapist who is not only skilled but also passionate about helping others and thrives in a team-oriented environment!

Your Responsibilities

• Evaluate and Treat: Use your expertise to assess patients, develop personalized treatment plans, and guide them on their journey to recovery.
• Collaborate: Communicate patient progress and challenges with supervisors and team members, ensuring seamless care.
• Document Care: Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory and accrediting requirements.
• Educate: Instruct patients’ families and nursing staff on follow-through programs to enhance recovery.
• Maintain Safety: Keep your work area and equipment clean and safe for everyone.
• Adhere to Standards: Follow the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and applicable laws in all job responsibilities.
• Other Duties: Be flexible and ready to take on additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state of practice
• Current CPR certification
• Strong organizational and communication skills
