Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time, onsite opportunity is for a licensed School Psychologist serving K-12 students within a school setting. The role involves conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments to support the educational and emotional well-being of students throughout the academic year. Located in York, SC, this contract position requires a dedication to fostering positive developmental outcomes for a diverse student population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for K-12 students
- Interpret test results and prepare detailed reports with recommendations
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide consultation and support to school personnel regarding student behavior and learning
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to school-wide mental health initiatives
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SC State School Psychologist license is required
- Experience conducting evaluations and assessments within K-12 settings
- Strong knowledge of psychological testing protocols and special education laws
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff
- Ability to manage a full caseload in a fast-paced school environment
Location: York, South Carolina
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Contract Length: Academic Year (NSY)
