Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years X-Ray experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A healthcare opportunity is available for a skilled Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-ray imaging. This contract position is located in Keaau, HI, offering an immersive work experience in a beautiful island setting. Candidates must hold or be willing to obtain an active State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license prior to the assignment start date.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of two years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Proficient in operating radiographic equipment independently.
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols; must carry a dosimeter badge.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Experience with Meditech or Epic EMR systems preferred.
  • Familiarity with Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, and Konica DR equipment is a plus.
  • Ability to arrive on-site the Thursday before the assignment begins for employee health appointments.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures according to established protocols.
  • Ensure adherence to radiation safety and quality control standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide timely imaging services.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the EMR system.
  • Participate in varied shifts including day, evening, and approximately three call days per month.
