Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years X-Ray experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A healthcare opportunity is available for a skilled Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-ray imaging. This contract position is located in Keaau, HI, offering an immersive work experience in a beautiful island setting. Candidates must hold or be willing to obtain an active State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license prior to the assignment start date.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Proficient in operating radiographic equipment independently.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols; must carry a dosimeter badge.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience with Meditech or Epic EMR systems preferred.
- Familiarity with Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, and Konica DR equipment is a plus.
- Ability to arrive on-site the Thursday before the assignment begins for employee health appointments.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures according to established protocols.
- Ensure adherence to radiation safety and quality control standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide timely imaging services.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the EMR system.
- Participate in varied shifts including day, evening, and approximately three call days per month.
