Purchasing Assistant
We are assisting a prestigious Charlotte corporate office in hiring a Purchasing Assistant to support day-to-day procurement operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and track software renewals, ensuring purchase orders are processed and submitted on schedule
- Prepare, process, and maintain purchase orders, requisitions, and invoices within internal procurement systems
- Maintain accurate records related to inventory, IT assets, contracts, and warranties
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with reconciliation and reporting as needed
- Ensure purchasing activities align with internal policies, budget guidelines, and vendor agreements
- Serve as an administrative liaison between IT, vendors, and internal departments to support timely purchasing
- Organize and maintain procurement documentation and files for audit and reference purposes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1+ year of experience in an administrative, purchasing, or procurement support role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment
