Purchasing Assistant


We are assisting a prestigious Charlotte corporate office in hiring a Purchasing Assistant to support day-to-day procurement operations. This role focuses on administrative coordination, documentation, and process support within the purchasing function. You will be a part of a high energy family-centered culture. Salary up to $58,000. Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and track software renewals, ensuring purchase orders are processed and submitted on schedule
  • Prepare, process, and maintain purchase orders, requisitions, and invoices within internal procurement systems
  • Maintain accurate records related to inventory, IT assets, contracts, and warranties
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with reconciliation and reporting as needed
  • Ensure purchasing activities align with internal policies, budget guidelines, and vendor agreements
  • Serve as an administrative liaison between IT, vendors, and internal departments to support timely purchasing
  • Organize and maintain procurement documentation and files for audit and reference purposes


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1+ year of experience in an administrative, purchasing, or procurement support role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment
