This contract opportunity centers around providing compassionate, hands-on support to young students as an Early Childhood BSP (Paraprofessional) for a full school year. The role is based in a nurturing environment where your presence and guidance will help set the foundation for student growth and success.
Key Qualifications:
- Completed paraprofessional certification or 60 college transcript credits, or willing to take and pass the para educator exam before starting
- Experience or strong interest in early childhood settings preferred
- Willingness and ability to assist with toileting needs
- Comfortable commuting daily to the assignment location
- Flexibility for a 37.5-hour Monday-Friday schedule, 8:30am–4:00pm, including a paid 30-minute lunch
- Willing to pay for required $85 background and fingerprinting check
- For RBTs: must independently secure outside BCBA supervision if you wish to maintain certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to classroom teachers and directly assist early learners with daily activities
- Help facilitate positive student engagement and reinforce individualized learning goals
- Assist with classroom management, including ensuring student safety and participation
- Attend and contribute to any relevant meetings or training sessions
- Perform care duties, including toileting, as part of daily responsibilities
Pay for this position ranges from $24-26 per hour for BSPs and $30-32 per hour for RBTs, offering a competitive opportunity to contribute to young children’s educational journeys.
