Job Description

Are you passionate about developing and implementing strategic initiatives which drive growth? Are you ready to transform data into valuable insights to support strategic decision-making at Sika?

As part of the Strategic Project Management team of Region Americas, we are looking for a Strategic Projects Associate who will be responsible to design and implement solutions supporting growth initiatives, drive projects focusing on business development and operational efficiencies. In your role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams ranging from Operations to Sales to gather insights on business performance, analyze data and develop strategic masterplans as well as be involved in day-to-day execution and tracking.

Exciting Challenges

Interpret data, analyse results and define actions with Business, Marketing and Operations stakeholders to solve key business challenges

Identify new opportunities provided by available data to generate valuable insights for the business and support growth

Actively support countries / areas to review their strategic business plans and support translation into operations footprints through regular project drumbeats, dedicated workshops, as well as storytelling guidance and presentation drafting

Improve current and develop new processes and solutions and lead their roll-out across country organizations

Support in drafting presentations and data visualizations for country / area / region top-management leveraging insights identified through data analysis / workshops / other researches

Create strong link with cross-functional teams to introduce and expand innovative solutions

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Data Science, Engineering or related fields

2-4 years of experience with strategic projects and data analysis at a top consulting company

Strong ability to connect the dots and create compelling stories suitable for the top management team

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with ability of translating data insights into actionable plans

High autonomy combined with an entrepreneurial mindset and a can-do attitude

Positive and energetic spirit that brings innovative ideas that engage people around you

Proficiency in Excel and Office suite, knowledge of data visualization software (e.g. Tableau, BI) is a plus

Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken), Portuguese and/or French would be a plus

Occasional travel including international
