Job Summary:
The Junior Mailroom Processor supports mailroom and warehouse operations, handling package processing, sorting, and delivery in a fast-paced environment. This role involves a mix of manual labor and administrative tasks, ensuring accurate handling of mail, packages, and related documentation.The position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to follow directions while maintaining a positive and proactive attitude.Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages
- Perform labeling tasks, including sticky labeling and package preparation
- Process shipments and deliveries using computer systems
- Pull tickets and organize incoming and outgoing mail
- Handle packing slips and ensure accurate documentation
- Deliver packages within the facility as needed
- Follow warehouse and mailroom procedures and safety guidelines
- Maintain an organized and efficient work area
Required Experience:
- Ability to perform physical work including lifting 25–50 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Basic computer skills for processing shipments
- Strong work ethic and reliability
Nice-to-Have Experience:
- Previous experience in a mailroom or warehouse environment
- Experience with shipping/receiving or logistics operations
