At Mosquito Joe of Springfield, IL, our mission is simple: Make Outside Fun Again. We provide mosquito control services to residential and commercial customers so they can enjoy their outdoor spaces — and we’re looking for motivated Mosquito Control Technicians to help us do it!
About the Job
Our Technicians are the first face customers see — delivering expert service with professionalism and care.
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday
- Typical hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (weather dependent)
- Flexible scheduling: 20–40 hours/week based on your availability
✅ Technician Responsibilities
- Inspect and treat properties for mosquitoes
- Clearly explain services, procedures, and expectations to customers
- Maintain strong customer relationships
- Keep accurate chemical records per State requirements
- Participate in team meetings
- Complete licensing and continuing education (we pay for it!)
- Assist with local marketing efforts
- Walk properties carrying up to 60 lbs of equipment in warm weather

What We Love About You
You’re:
- Friendly, professional, clean-shaven, and honest
- Customer-focused and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working independently and on a team
- 18+ with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Able to carry up to 60 lbs
- Adaptable with a flexible schedule
- A lover of the outdoors
Bonus (not required):
- Basic pest control knowledge
- General Pesticide Operator License (we’ll help you get it!)
