Outpatient Clinic RN Hours

• Day Shift | 5x8s (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

Outpatient Clinic RN Compensation

• The pay for this position is $41.00 an hour paid weekly
• Benefits are available to full-time employees
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees.

Outpatient Clinic RN Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the outpatient clinic setting, ensuring safe, high-quality care for patients of all ages.
• Perform patient assessments, including reviewing medical history, vital signs, symptoms, and current medications.
• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to coordinate patient care.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, assisting physicians and providers during clinic visits.
• Administer medications, injections, and treatments as ordered by the provider.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
• Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
• Document all patient interactions, treatments, and clinical information accurately in Cerner electronic medical records.
• Coordinate with physicians, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient flow and continuity of care.
• Perform telephone triage and respond to patient inquiries, providing clinical guidance when appropriate.
• Assist with care coordination, referrals, follow-up appointments, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
• Support clinic operations by assisting with quality improvement initiatives and team collaboration.

Outpatient Clinic RN Requirements

• Licensed RN
• Outpatient experience
