Job Description

Position Summary:

The Radiologic Technologist provides patient care by performing a variety of diagnostic and routine fluoroscopic radiographic procedures. This role requires independent judgment, initiative, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced clinical setting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiographic procedures in accordance with department protocols.
  • Operate and maintain radiology equipment, reporting malfunctions as needed.
  • Maintain adequate stock of supplies in assigned areas.
  • Cross-train in other imaging modalities as directed.
  • Safely dispose of contaminated materials following regulatory guidelines.
  • Comply with all exposure control plans, including the use of PPE and universal precautions.
  • Work collaboratively with all team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Uphold service standards and maintain professionalism with patients, families, and coworkers.
  • Participate in care team meetings and daily huddles.
  • Support patient education on preventive and chronic care needs.
  • Administer clinical screenings and immunizations.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations including HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, and The Joint Commission.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Completion of an A.M.A.-approved training program in Radiologic Technology.
  • Active California CRT License or ARRT Certification.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum one year of related experience.
  • Valid California driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
  • High level of professionalism and commitment to patient car
