This role is integral to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial operations, including maintaining records, reconciling accounts, and supporting reporting processes. Responsibilities:
• Prepare and record journal entries to maintain accurate financial data.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts regularly to ensure consistency.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals and adjustments.
• Update and maintain financial records in alignment with company policies and accounting standards.
• Assist in creating internal and external financial reports to support organizational goals.
• Work closely with various departments to collect financial information and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide documentation and respond to inquiries during audits to ensure compliance.
• Analyze accounting data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Train accounting clerks as needed to enhance team capabilities.
• Perform additional tasks as required to support accounting operations.• Proven experience in corporate tax, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.
• Proficiency in month-end close processes and internal reporting.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial records.
