Job Title: Call Center Agent

Location: Barrington, IL

Industry: Logistics

Pay: $20-$21/hour (based on experience)

Hours: Tuesday-Saturday | 7am-3:30pm OR 11:30am-8pm

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).


Job Description:

The Call Center Agent serves as a primary point of contact for customers regarding deliveries, pickups, order status updates, scheduling requests, and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle 100+ daily incoming and outgoing customer communications via phone, email, and chat.
  • Coordinate delivery and pickup schedules while providing timely updates and estimated arrival information.
  • Assist customers with shipment inquiries, service requests, disputes, and claims.
  • Process customer orders and facilitate payment transactions through company-approved systems.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one year of call center experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Experience in industries such as banking, insurance, collections, fraud prevention, call centers, or similar customer-focused roles preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable handling a large volume of customer interactions daily.
