Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Hearing Instrument Specialist based in Flint, MI. The primary responsibilities include conducting hearing tests, interpreting audiometry results, and assisting patients in selecting, fitting, and maintaining hearing aids. The specialist will also support patients through outstanding customer service and provide education on proper hearing aid usage and care. Additional duties include maintaining accurate patient records and staying informed on the latest hearing aid technology and practices.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Audiology, Hearing Tests, and Audiometry
- Strong skills in Customer Service and ability to build strong relationships with patients
- Knowledge of speech and sound evaluation
- State licensure or certification as a Hearing Instrument Specialist or Audiologist
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is a plus
