The Opportunity
As a Tax Supervisor, you'll play a key role in managing tax engagements, reviewing returns, mentoring staff, and helping clients navigate increasingly complex tax matters.
You'll work closely with managers, directors, and partners while gaining valuable exposure to:

Key Responsibilities Tax Compliance & Planning
- Review individual, partnership, S-corporation, corporate, and fiduciary tax returns
- Assist in developing proactive tax planning strategies
- Identify opportunities to minimize tax liabilities and maximize client benefits
- Review financial statements to identify planning opportunities and areas of risk
- Stay current on federal, state, and local tax law changes
Client Advisory Services
- Build and strengthen client relationships
- Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters and planning opportunities
- Assist with year-round advisory discussions and tax strategy initiatives
- Support business owners and executives as a trusted resource
Leadership & Team Development
- Supervise Associates and Senior Associates
- Review workpapers and tax returns for quality and accuracy
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development support
- Assist with training and onboarding initiatives
- Support developing future tax leaders within the firm
Technical Development
- Conduct tax research and communicate findings
- Assist with resolving complex tax questions and issues
- Support estate, gift, trust, and international tax projects when applicable
- Continue building technical expertise across multiple tax disciplines
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA, CPA candidate (150/120 hours completed), or EA designation
- 4–6 years of public accounting tax experience
- Experience preparing and reviewing business and individual tax returns
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with Excel and tax research software
- Strong organizational and project-management skills
