Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our client’s healthcare team in Leesburg, Florida. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, coordinating treatment plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and perform comprehensive nursing assessments
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy as prescribed
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes appropriately
- Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs and CNAs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR/EHR systems
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and aftercare
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to coordinate care
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and safety standards
Requirements
- Active Florida RN license (required)
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN or BSN)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (ACLS preferred depending on setting)
- Minimum 1 years of nursing experience (behavioral health preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
