A K-12 school in Vallejo, CA is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide comprehensive speech and language services for the upcoming school year. This contract opportunity is tailored for a dedicated professional passionate about supporting students' communication development across all grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments, screenings, and evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' progress.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as needed.
- Provide consultation and training to staff related to speech and language interventions.
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice as an SLP in California.
- Experience working with children in K-12 educational settings preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively and work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

Contract Length: Full school year (NSY)
