Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school in Vallejo, CA is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide comprehensive speech and language services for the upcoming school year. This contract opportunity is tailored for a dedicated professional passionate about supporting students' communication development across all grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments, screenings, and evaluations for students.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' progress.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as needed.
  • Provide consultation and training to staff related to speech and language interventions.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice as an SLP in California.
  • Experience working with children in K-12 educational settings preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage caseloads effectively and work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

Location: Vallejo, California
Contract Length: Full school year (NSY)
