As we grow, we're looking for a dedicated and driven Parent Relations Manager (PRM) to join our leadership team and lead top-of-funnel initiatives across multiple locations.
Position Summary
The Multi-Unit Parent Relations Manager (PRM) is responsible for driving new pet parent acquisition, enhancing customer conversion strategies, and ensuring a seamless experience from first inquiry to enrollment across our Dogtopia locations in Golden Valley and Bloomington (15 mi apart). This role focuses heavily on top-of-funnel initiatives, including lead generation, follow-up, team training, and in-store experience optimization.
A successful candidate is a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to take a task and run with it. Must be both a people and a dog person with a positive attitude. Someone who is motivated by setting and hitting numbers with the opportunity to make more compensation when they do.
Youll serve as the go-to leader for all things related to pet parent onboarding, front desk conversion training, lead follow-up, and in-store promotions designed to elevate the daycare and boarding experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Conversion
Identify and cultivate relationships with local businesses, apartment complexes, vet clinics, and pet-related businesses to generate leads
Organize and execute events in the community some nights and weekends
Reach out to new leads (online inquiries, event leads, etc.) to book our introductory appointments (Meet & Greets)
- Store-Level Engagement & Initiatives
Train front desk and customer-facing teams on how to confidently handle conversion calls, follow-ups, and in-store tours
Create scripts, objection-handling tools, and call-flow guides for consistent messaging and sales conversion
Monitor customer feedback and trends to improve parent satisfaction and drive repeat visits
- Social Media Content
Assist with managing each stores social media platforms with engaging content
Capture and share real-time content that highlights the brand experience
- Reporting & Communication
Track and analyze conversion metrics weekly and present results to managers. Identify opportunities for improvement, construct a plan, and execute the plan
Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to managers and team members to improve their conversion and parent communication skills
Qualifications
2+ years in a customer acquisition, sales, or relationship management role; multi-location or retail experience preferred
Strong understanding of top-of-funnel sales strategies, CRM systems, and lead conversion processes
Confident communicator with experience training others in customer service or sales
Comfortable with Cold outreach
Creative, organized, and self-motivated by results
Ability to work with teams as well as independently with limited oversight. Your success will be judged on your results, not by hours worked
Comfortable working in a pet care environment and passionate about delivering an exceptional experience to pet parents

What a typical day might look like
Arrive at one of the stores by 7:30-8am, depending on Meet and Greets
Call any existing leads that came in from the evening, organize day around meet and greets
Admin tasks/Spend time with team members updating on any new policies or working on development
Once all meet and greets have arrived, head out to local partners for new introductions and check-ins with established relationships
Return to the store for Meet and Greet pick-ups and tours
Call leads, invite pet parents in for event days, do follow-up calls for first days, boarding stays, negative reviews, or issues
Complete necessary tracking, notes, and other loose ends before wrapping up for the day around 4:30-5:30
