Job DescriptionGrinder Operator $19/hour Southpointe Mancan Staffing is hiring a Grinder Operator for a reputable manufacturing facility in the Southpointe area! This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for dependable and motivated individuals looking to build a career with a solid company.Job Duties:Operate a high-speed hand grinder to blend corners of welded steel enclosures and cabinets for a smooth, seamless finish.Perform deburring, finishing, grinding, cosmetic grinding, and sanding using hand tools and an orbital sander.Perform visual inspections to ensure quality and accuracy.Assist with general labor duties across the facility as needed.Regularly lift up to 50 pounds.Use measuring tools and perform basic shop math.Schedule:Steady 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM 11:00 PM Training will take place on 1st Shift: 7:00 AM 3:00 PMMust be available for overtime when required.Pay Rate: $19.00/hourRequirements:Experience with grinders, deburring, finishing, and cosmetic grinding or in a metal fabrication environment preferred.Experience working with industrial cabinetry is highly desired.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.Physically capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.Team-oriented and adaptable to changing duties.
