Warehouse Supervisor
GenPro Energy Solutions is the region’s foremost expert on renewable energy integration and sustainable energy product offerings. GenPro is focused on four major industry sectors including solar power solutions, solar lighting systems, solar water pumping and filtration, and cleantech product distribution.
Primary Function:
GenPro Energy Solutions is seeking a hands-on and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and lead a small team. This role ensures accurate order fulfillment, efficient receiving, proper inventory control, and overall organization of the warehouse. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on support when needed.
The Warehouse Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring that materials, tools, and solar components are efficiently managed to support project timelines and operational success across GenPro’s construction and solar energy projects.
Reporting Relationship: Supply Chain Director
Pay Grade: $26-28 per hourEssential Job Functions:Leadership & Team Oversight
- Supervise daily warehouse operations, assigning and monitoring tasks to maintain productivity and quality standards.
- Provide hands-on support to team members while ensuring adherence to company policies and safety protocols.
- Set clear performance expectations and foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning.
Order Fulfillment & Shipping
- Oversee and participate in accurate picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders.
- Ensure all orders are processed through company software with complete and accurate documentation.
- Verify assemblies and shipments for correctness, including those sent via third-party billing accounts.
- Coordinate transportation logistics, including booking hotshots, LTL, and FTL shipments.
Receiving & Vendor Coordination
- Manage physical receiving, inspection, and verification of incoming materials and equipment.
- Ensure all receipts are entered accurately into company software with correct pricing and documentation.
- Submit and track vendor orders for restocking and drop shipping needs.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to secure favorable pricing, lead times, and terms.
Inventory Management
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Monitor backorder reports and reorder points to ensure consistent material availability.
- Track warehouse supplies and submit replenishment requests as needed.
- Keep detailed records of materials available for current and future projects.
- Oversee organization of electrical materials in both warehouse and connex storage areas.
Warehouse Organization & Safety
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
- Support general lot and facility cleanup activities as needed.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and workflow.
- Collaborate with Sales, Accounting, Field Operations, and other departments to ensure smooth operational coordination.
- Recommend enhancements to warehouse layout, procedures, and inventory management systems.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of warehouse or supply chain experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, shipping/receiving, and order fulfillment processes.
- Ability to learn and utilize company software and inventory systems effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook).
- Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate staff while maintaining accountability.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
