Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Supervisor to oversee daily operations, lead employees, and ensure productivity, quality, and safety standards are consistently met. The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for supervising staff, coordinating workflow, monitoring performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to support operational goals.

\n

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience in warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or logistics operations and has a proven ability to motivate teams while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support daily operations to ensure production and operational goals are achieved.
  • \n

  • Lead, coach, and develop team members through training, performance management, and regular feedback.
  • \n

  • Monitor productivity, labor efficiency, and workflow to maximize operational performance.
  • \n

  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
  • \n

  • Coordinate staffing assignments and adjust schedules based on business needs.
  • \n

  • Conduct daily shift meetings to communicate expectations, priorities, and operational updates.
  • \n

  • Investigate and resolve operational issues, employee concerns, and process inefficiencies.
  • \n

  • Maintain accurate production, inventory, and operational records.
  • \n

  • Collaborate with management and cross-functional departments to improve processes and achieve company objectives.
  • \n

  • Monitor equipment and facility conditions, reporting maintenance needs as necessary.
  • \n

  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new employees.
  • \n

  • Promote a positive, respectful, and accountable work environment.
  • \n

  • Ensure employees are following OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
  • \n

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall performance.
  • \n

Qualifications

\n

    \n
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • \n

  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or distribution operations.
  • \n

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • \n

  • Experience managing employee performance and productivity.
  • \n

  • Knowledge of inventory control and operational processes.
  • \n

  • Ability to read reports and analyze operational data.
  • \n

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • \n

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with WMS or ERP systems is a plus.
  • \n

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • \n

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
  • \n

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • \n

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, and climbing.

  • Ability to work in a warehouse or manufacturing environment with varying temperatures.
