Job Overview
Were seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our growing operations team. This role is essential to the day-to-day financial health of the organization and will support a range of functions including accounting, contract compliance, and financial reporting. Youll work closely with the Chief Operating Officer to ensure that our financial processes are accurate, timely, and aligned with strategic goals.
This position requires a strong foundation in financial management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team. Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including income, expenses, and general ledger reconciliation.
Process payroll on a bi-weekly basis using ADP, BambooHR, and Harvest.
Prepare and deliver regular financial reportsP&L, balance sheet, cash flow, reconciliations, and KPIs.
Ensure tax compliance across multiple states and support annual tax filings in collaboration with CPA partners.
Process vendor invoices and client billing using platforms like QuickBooks Online and Bill.com.
Monitor and manage contract documentation, ensuring compliance and accurate records.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning efforts.
Collaborate with the COO to meet operational goals and optimize financial performance.
Assist with general administrative duties to support daily business operations.
Flexibility to support broader team priorities as required.

Solid accounting knowledge and hands-on experience in a small business or agency setting.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to financial accuracy and integrity.

Comfort with handling sensitive data and maintaining confidentiality.

Experience working across departments and supporting leadership decision-making.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
57 years of accounting and payroll experience.
35 years of experience in office management or general operations.
Experience with QuickBooks Online, ADP, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel proficiency required).
Experience with Bill.com, BambooHR, Harvest, or Scoro is a plus.
Eligible to work in the U.S. and submit to a background check.
