Job DescriptionSalary:

Location: Madrid (3-4 times a weekon-site)


The Head of Talent Acquisition is a newly created role within our organisation. This position will be responsible for developing and leading the global hiring strategy, translating it into actionable plans, and ensuring recruitment goals are met efficiently and effectively.

The role will define and align hiring strategies with the companys overall objectives, define and track KPIs, and shape key processes and practices. It will directly oversee a geographically distributed team of recruiters, combining strategic oversight with hands-on delivery and team support.



Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition Strategy

  • Develop and lead the Talent Acquisition strategy in line with business objectives and growth targets
  • Partner with C-level and Executive Leadership to ensure alignment with wider organisational strategies
  • Define and manage the Talent Acquisition budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

KPIs & Metrics

  • Define key Talent Acquisition KPIs and build performance dashboards and reporting systems.
  • Monitor performance and use data insights to shape strategy, improve processes, and drive efficiency.

Team Management

  • Design, implement, and manage the Talent Acquisition team structure and function.
  • Oversee team performance and ensure accountability for effectiveness and results.
  • Coach and develop team members to achieve high standards and support company growth.

Talent Acquisition Sources & Tools

  • Assess and optimise current recruitment sources.
  • Integrate new technologies (ATS, AI, analytics) and modern methodologies (recruitment marketing, referral programs, etc.).
  • Manage relationships with external agencies/providers, overseeing support for specialised roles and related administration.

Processes & Practises

  • Develop and implement global hiring policies and frameworks.
  • Define recruitment allocation policies to balance global demand and team capacity.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies and security requirements.
  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process with a focus on quality and consistency.

Cross Company Engagement

  • Collaborate with Staffing and People teams to ensure seamless interaction and integration.
  • Enhance the candidate experience, maintaining quality, transparency, and timely communication throughout the process.


Skills, Knowledge and Experience:


  • Extensive Talent Acquisition experience in medium-sized companies, preferably within IT consulting.
  • Experience in tech start-up or scale-up environments, with a track record of building or restructuring TA functions.
  • Proven expertise in developing and implementing Talent Acquisition strategies, building and scaling an employer brand, developing the EVP, and partnering with Marketing on brand campaigns,policies, and processes.
  • Strong knowledge of the end-to-end recruitment process from requisition to onboarding.
  • Solid experience designing dashboards and reporting tools that track team efficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage senior stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience managing international teams with a focus on developing talent.
  • Fluent or native English; Spanish highly desirable.
