Job DescriptionPosition Description: Looking for a fun, flexible part-time job that makes a difference? Girl Scouts Louisiana East is hiring a Membership Recruiting Associate to help connect girls and families to the Girl Scout experience.
This role is ideal for college students or anyone who enjoys working with people, supporting youth, and being active in the community.
What Youll Do (overview)Represent Girl Scouts at schools, community events, recruitment activities, and other outreach opportunities for purposes of gaining new members in Girl ScoutsShare information with girls, parents, caregivers, and community members about Girl Scout programs, membership, and opportunities to get involved
Assist with planning, preparing for, and working recruitment events, including setup, greeting families, answering questions, and cleanup
Lead or support simple, engaging activities that introduce girls and families to Girl Scouts in a welcoming and exciting way
Help interested families complete membership registration and provide follow-up support as needed
Build and maintain positive relationships with schools, community partners, and local organizations
Support membership growth by helping identify potential new members and encouraging participation
Prepare materials, organize supplies, track contacts or event participation, and complete timely follow-up after events
Work closely with Membership staff and assist with other outreach and membership-related duties as assigned
What Were Looking For
At least 18 years old
High school diploma or GED required
Strong communication and people skills
Organized, dependable, and professional
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Valid drivers license and proof of insurance required
