- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 – $2,130 (competitive travel nurse pay)\n
\n\nJob Requirements / Qualifications\n

- Minimum 18 months recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience prior to travel (Med/Surg RN, Telemetry RN)\n
- Active Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license in hand (Registered Nurse licensure)\n
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required\n
- NIHSS certification preferred (stroke/neurology experience a plus)\n
- One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in specialty required\n
- COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)\n
- Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (telemetry proficiency)\n
\n\nResponsibilities / Clinical Duties\n
- \n
- Deliver high-quality patient care to adult patients on a busy Med/Surg Telemetry unit (patient care, clinical assessment)\n
- Monitor, assess, and document patient condition and progress using EHR / electronic health record systems\n
- Perform cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation; recognize arrhythmias and escalate per protocol\n
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered (medication administration, IV therapy)\n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members—physicians, RRTs, therapists, case management—to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n
- Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up (patient education)\n
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR charting)\n
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement and patient safety initiatives (continuous improvement)\n
