Key Responsibilities:
- Provide front desk and office support, including answering phones and greeting patients and visitors.
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate calendars for providers.
- Process new patient intake, verify insurance information, and manage medical records.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and basic billing documents.
- Assist with filing, data entry, and maintaining confidential records.
- Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and staff.
- Help with additional administrative tasks and projects as needed.
- Previous experience as an administrative assistant, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications are a plus.
