Pittsburgh area professional accounting firm is in need of an experienced Accountant.
Duties to include:
- Oversee daily financial operations, including preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing general ledger functions, and performing reconciliations.
- Handle tax compliance, assist with audit preparations, and develop financial reports to support decision-making processes.
Requirements:
- Strong expertise in Financial Reporting, General Ledger Management, and Tax Compliance
- Proficiency in Audit Preparation, Budgeting, and Financial Analysis
- Advanced skills in accounting software and Excel
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and organizational skills
- Solid understanding of income tax and other regulatory frameworks
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Team player willing to assist when and where needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA certification or progress toward completion is highly desirable
NOTE: Higher salary available for candidates with 10+ years of experience.
