Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Journeyman Plumbers for new construction projects in Hopkinsville, KY. This role is ideal for skilled tradespeople who take pride in high‑quality workmanship and enjoy working as part of a collaborative construction team. Journeyman plumbers will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and testing plumbing systems in accordance with project specifications and applicable codes.
Key Responsibilities
- Install plumbing systems for new construction projects, including water, waste, and vent systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Perform layout, rough‑in, and finish plumbing work
- Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, valves, and fixtures
- Collaborate with foremen, supervisors, and other trades to maintain project schedules
- Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety standards, and project requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
Required Skills & Experience
- Journeyman plumber status (license or equivalent experience, as applicable)
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and new construction methods
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Experience with copper, PVC, cast iron, and other common piping materials
- Familiarity with hand and power tools used in plumbing installation
Preferred Qualifications
- Commercial or industrial new construction experience
- Experience working in fast‑paced construction environments
- Knowledge of basic HVAC or mechanical systems
- OSHA safety training or equivalent

Work Environment
This position is based on active new construction job sites. Work involves physical labor, including lifting, standing, bending, and working in varying site conditions. Proper PPE and approved work attire are required at all times. Safety is a top priority.

This is a Contract position based out of Hopkinsville, KY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
