Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Providing specialized speech-language pathology services across elementary, middle, and high school settings, this contract position involves delivering direct speech therapy and conducting evaluations for students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade. Serving multiple school locations in and around Carmi, IL, professionals will have the opportunity to work in diverse educational environments, offering support tailored to each student's unique needs.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students from K-12.
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations as required.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided, progress notes, and evaluations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute expertise to support student success.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license.
- Experience working with school-aged children in elementary, middle, and high school settings.
- Ability to manage caseloads across multiple locations effectively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Flexibility to work across the following schools, which can be combined to form one full-time equivalent assignment: Palmetto Ridge High School: 3 days per week Pinecrest Elementary in Immokalee: 1 day per week Lake Trafford in Immokalee: 1 day per week Highlands Elementary in Immokalee: 1 to 5 days per week Golden Terrace in Golden Gate City: 2 to 3 days per week
