Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Podiatrist to join our team! We are a collaborative, rewarding and lively practice with 2 locations in Williamsburg and Hampton. The Candidate must have strong clinical skills, comfortable with high volume, and providing call to the local hospital. In addition, be interested in making a difference and impacting the community with their surgical, wound care, and interpersonal skills. Our practice focuses on autotomy; you will not be micro-managed; therefore, you must be ethical, diligent and efficient.
The company will pay for medical malpractice and up to a certain amount for CMEs. Your schedule will be filled for you. Your success will depend entirely on your own self-motivation.

Responsibilities
- Examine patients legs and feet to diagnose diseases
- Treat bone, muscle, and joint disorders affecting the feet and ankles
- Perform wound care
- Diagnose diseases and deformities of the foot and ankle using medical histories, physical examinations, x-rays, and laboratory test results
- Prescribe medications, corrective devices, physical therapy, or surgery
- Advise patients about treatments and foot and ankle care techniques necessary for prevention of future problems
- Provide education/consultation to patients
- Maintain appropriate medical records on assigned patients
Basic Requirements:
- Virginia State License/DEA #
- ABPS BC/BE
- strong work ethic and self-motivating
- DPM with 3 year surgical residency training; wound care interest a plus
- inpatient and outpatient work
- high earning potential
