OVERVIEW:
The ICQA Specialist I is responsible for verifying inventory accuracy and compliance components of the day-to-day operations of the DC. The specific operational verifications will be conducted throughout the DC and at off –site storage facilities. Support the efficiency and resolution of processing of merchandise by reviewing products that need additional review to split to the stores. Reconcile inventory control problems that arise during the course of distribution utilizing the facility’s Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Warehouse Control System (WCS) specifically associated with inbound & outbound merchandise.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Prepare Merchandise for further processing at specific locations throughout the DC by staging, sorting, completing data entry, and other systemic activities as needed. This work allows for merchandise that has become invalid to be resolved as well as merchandise that is currently in exception status to be corrected and re-introduced

This includes but is not limited to processing containers on UPS and shipping exception lines

Assist with cycle counting of inventory in the hotel storage area. Perform random and directed (marked) audits for discrepancies found by warehouse personnel

Perform off-site physical inventories and location audits when required

This may be a larger portion of the job function if posted to an offsite facility

Verify merchandise and ticket information against provided documentation and system information

Maintain quality, accuracy, and shrinkage control by adhering to established policies and procedures which includes reviewing the prior day’s units that have rolled over into the current day

Document discrepancies on appropriate forms
QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

Excellent math and computer skills. Experience with Outlook E-mail, MS Word, Access.

Ability to stand and/or walk continuously throughout shift.

Ability to read, speak and understand written instructions in English.

Previous RF gun/gladiator experience helpful.

Must pass MS Word I, Math (with calculator).

Must completed UID In Training program (UIDiT) or have prior UID certification.

Must pass PIT (power equipment training) to complete assigned tasks.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
-
Job requires ability to work in a warehouse environment, on a concrete floor all day.

Requires continuous, standing, walking, hearing, pushing, and pulling.
-
Consistent timeliness and regular attendance is necessary.
-
Frequently reaching, bending, stooping, talking, hearing (audio equipment), handling objects with hands and lifting to 50 lbs. as needed throughout the shift.

Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.

Variance in work volume is seasonal and predictable; priorities can be anticipated; some interruptions are present.
Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
