Job DescriptionJob Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Production Supervisor to manage daily operations at our oral care manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for maintaining safe, efficient, and high-quality production of mouthwash and toothpaste products, ensuring full compliance with GMP, safety, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in FMCG or pharmaceutical manufacturing, strong leadership skills, and a solid understanding of batch processing and packaging for liquids and semi-solids.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise production teams during assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.

Oversee daily operations for mouthwash and toothpaste lines, addressing bottlenecks and maintaining target output.

Ensure adherence to GMP, SOPs, and all regulatory requirements (FDA, ISO, OSHA).

Manage setup, operation, and cleaning of production and packaging equipment for liquids and semi-solids.

Maintain accurate batch production records and ensure full traceability of materials and finished goods.

Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to ensure seamless operations.

Conduct regular inspections to maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitation standards.

Train, coach, and evaluate production operators and line workers to foster a skilled and motivated team.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, waste reduction, and product quality.

Enforce all safety procedures and participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis.

Monitor and maintain adequate inventory of raw materials and packaging components to support production needs.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.

Experience: 3–5 years of supervisory experience in personal care, cosmetic, FMCG, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Strong knowledge of batch mixing, filling, capping, and labeling operations for liquids and semi-solids.

Familiarity with FDA, ISO 22716 (GMP for cosmetics), and OSHA standards.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in ERP systems, manufacturing software, and Microsoft Office.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, or extended hours as needed.
Preferred Skills (Not Required but a Plus)

Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification

Experience with automated filling lines and CIP (Clean-in-Place) systems

Understanding of OEE, KPIs, and other performance metrics
