FDRsafety is seeking a Field Safety Representative to oversee a construction project in Socorro, TX. This position is anticipated to start immediately and will last approximately 10 months on a Monday-Friday dayshift schedule for 40-60 hours/week. This individual will be responsible for providing toolbox talks, site walkthroughs, inspections, auditing, assisting, and advising management of their findings daily for a single site location.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety, Safety Management, or related field is preferred.
- OSHA 510 is preferred.
- Candidates must have an OSHA 30 Hour in Construction Certification.
- Candidates must have a First-Aid/CPR/AED certificate.
- Candidates should have 5+ years of construction safety experience as a lead with the proven ability to identify workable solutions to eliminate hazards.
- Strong background in constructions procedures and processes.
- Experience with cranes, rigging, confined space, and forklift safety is required.
