Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to take on a temporary position covering maternity leave in a K-12 school setting. This role is based in Naperville, IL, and involves working 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from May to July.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state SLP licensure
- ASHA CCCs (Certification of Clinical Competence)
- Prior experience in a school environment is preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with pediatric speech therapy and teletherapy practices is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services provided
- Provide therapy in accordance with state and school guidelines
